Brain Gym in South Africa Logo
To provide the student with the tools to become a professional practitioner of Brain Gym® processes in order to establish his/her own practice, or to be employed within an organisation providing Brain Gym® services.

We have changed the set-up of this course, because there is a need to bring this course forward, so that people are better equipped for their 250 hour practicals. The course has been split-up into two parts.

Practitioner Module 1

This consists out of 3 days, whereby you learn how to deal with your clients professionally and how to get clients.
Pre-requisites:
  • Neuro-Integration Movement workshop (Introduction to Brain Gym®)
  • Brain Gym 101 (Brain Gym I and II)
  • Educational Kinesiology In Depth: Seven Dimensions of Intelligence


Course content:1. The student will be able to communicate:
  • with the client in order to provide an efficient service
  • with the local network for support and enhancement of his/her services
  • with the National Foundation
  • with the International Foundation
2. The student will be organized in:
  • setting up a professional practice
  • providing suitable facilities and equipment for effective practice
  • planning workload
  • time management
  • targeting desired market
  • marketing strategies
3. The student will focus on:
  • Interviewing strategies
  • with the adult client
  • with the younger client
  • Consulting strategies
  • with the adult client
  • with the younger client

Practitioner Module 2 - Assessment Day

This consists out of 1 day. It is an assessment day whereby you will demonstrate your ability to do balances, including an In-Depth balance. You need to have completed all required courses (See below) and you must have enough confidence to demonstrate your ability to balance. You decide when you are ready!

Pre-requisites:
  • Neuro-Integration Movement workshop (Introduction to Brain Gym®)
  • Brain Gym 101 (Brain Gym I and II)
  • Optimal Brain Organization
  • 3 days of elective courses
  • Educational Kinesiology In Depth: Seven Dimensions of Intelligence
  • Enough experience in balancing that you can be assessed on your ability
Course Content:4. The student will demonstrate working knowledge of strategies for working with specific clientele:
  • Private practice
  • adults
  • children
  • school system
  • geriatrics
  • business
  • sport and recreation
  • vision improvement
5.  Competency evaluation

Five balances on specific clients including:

  • research on any topic, for example depression and learning problems
  • internship
